SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - The Court has sentenced the second of two people who were charged following a dispute in Sawyer County that escalated, resulting in a law enforcement response. On January 25, 2025, deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation between 47-year-old Michael Aaron Colalillo Sr. (pictured left) and a victim at a property in Sawyer County.
What began as a disagreement over security cameras quickly turned violent, with allegations of assault, illegal firearms possession, and homemade explosives. Law enforcement conducted an extensive investigation, leading to the arrests of Colalillo Sr. and 40-year-old Zachory Horan (pictured right).
Horan was sentenced in June 2025, and Colalillo Sr. has now been sentenced as well
