Sex Offender to be Released in Chippewa County

The Chippewa County Sex Offender Notification Committee has determined that a Level 3 notification would be undertaken in regard to the community placement of convicted sex offender Gerald R Obernberger DOB 03/07/1993. Mr. Obernberger will be released from a Department of Corrections prison on June 26th 2018 and will be residing in Chippewa County.

Mr. Obernberger has been convicted of sex offenses involving minors. Mr. Obernberger will be supervised the Department of Corrections until 07/01/2028. Mr. Obernberger conditions of supervision will prohibit him from any unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with his victims, no alcohol or drug use, not to be in taverns/bars/liquor stores. Mr. Obernberger must comply with the standard sex offender rules: cooperate with electronic monitoring.  Face to face contact with Law Enforcement requirement, comply with all requirements and lifetime registrant of WI. Sex Offender Registry.
