Shell Lake Car Show Announces Return To Main Street In 2020

The Shell Lake Car Show is excited to announce its return to Shell Lake’s historic Main Street on July 3, 2020, followed by the street dance with the band Sushi Roll and fireworks display.

The Shell Lake Car Show has worked hard in the past to help raise money for local non-profit organizations that benefit Washburn County and its residents.  Some of those are our local VFW, American Legion and Honor Guard, Washburn County Food Pantry, Embrace (formerly known as the TimeOut Abuse Shelter), Lakeview Medical Center Hospice Program, Alzheimer’s Day Respite Center and most recently the Shell Lake Fire Department.

In order to expand and grow, we have now teamed up with the Shell Lake Chamber of Commerce, along with our longtime sponsors Klopp’s, My Favorite Things, Sarona Jewels and new this year, DrydenWire.com.

We are also excited to announce that we have also partnered up with Rice Lake Harley Davidson, who will be offering test rides of the newest models that Harley Davidson has to offer, to bring you an even bigger and better experience than ever before!

We will have food available onsite by The Laughing Goat Food Truck and cool refreshments at Matt’s Shaved Ice Stand, along with all the music you have grown to love at the Shell Lake Car Show over the years!

Moving the Shell Lake Car Show to the July 3rd celebration was an easy choice for creator and event organizer, Adam Lundberg.

“We all know that one of the biggest events in Shell Lake is the July 3rd fireworks show and Block Party Extravaganza that includes the street dance, the art fair and now the Shell Lake Car Show, it is also by far, one of the busiest times of the year for Shell Lake, so let’s add to it and make it an even larger event.”

The plan is to move the launch site of the fireworks to a barge system on the center of Shell Lake to give everyone an amazing view.

To help offset the expense of this and the necessary wireless electronic launch system, the fireworks show and all it entails, the 2020 July 3rd Shell Lake Car Show will be donating a portion of the proceeds to help with the expenses incurred by this move and improvement to the overall experience.

The Shell Lake Car Show will also be working to help with some much-needed funding to assist the Veterans Administration with a donation towards the installation of the “Tomb of the Unknowns” in the Spooner Memorial Park.

The Shell Lake Car Show will run as it has for years, with prizes, silent auctions, trophies, food and drink.

To donate or volunteer for this event, contact Adam Lundberg at 715-645-0632 or reach out to the Facebook page under, “Shell Lake Car Show”.
