Shell Lake Full Gospel Church to Host 31st Annual World Missions Conference

Shell Lake Full Gospel Church to Host 31st Annual World Missions Conference

Shell Lake Full Gospel (SLFG) Church is gearing up to host it's 31st Annual World Missions Conference next week beginning Sunday, October 15th through Wednesday, October 18th. They are expecting nearly 50 missionary families from all over the world. These missionaries are involved in projects and organizations tackling everything from clean drinking water to rescuing children from human trafficking and ultimately spreading the love of Jesus Christ!

New to the conference this year the church will be featuring a domestic missions representative raising funds for local missions. Pastor Reg Myers shared that "we believe God loves and cares about the lives of those right here in Washburn County and Northern Wi, and Shell Lake Full Gospel Church does too!" SLFG is already involved in and supports several community outreach programs including the food pantry and Washburn Christian Outreach and has sponsored events like the Town & Country Days inflatables, and annual teacher's in-service lunch for the Shell Lake School District. "We want to increase our community involvement dramatically, to partner with the city and the schools to take care of unmet needs. We want everyone to know they are loved and cared for!" said Pastor Reg.

The conference is open to the public and free to attend. Every dollar raised at the conference will be going directly the missions projects as the church has already covered the conference costs. And every gift given is tax deductible. If you've been looking for a way to give money and be assured of its responsible use, you need to come meet our missionaries!
