WASHBURN COUNTY -- Robin Johnson, 38 years of age, from Shell Lake, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
On January 5, 2018 at approximately 1:38 p.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a 2007 Chrysler 300 for speeding on Hwy 253 @ Wildlife Road in Washburn County.
The driver was identified as Robin Johnson, age 38, from Shell Lake, WI.
A subsequent investigation which included field sobriety testing resulted in the driver being arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence of an intoxicant-6th offense. Johnson submitted to an evidentiary chemical test of his blood and was lodged in the Washburn County Jail pending an initial appearance.
"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
