RUSK COUNTY — A Shell Lake, WI, man already serving prison time in multiple criminal cases has now been convicted in Rusk County for conduct tied to a June 2025 multi-county pursuit that nearly resulted in a head-on collision with a sheriff’s deputy.
Court records show that Jess Blake, age 43, was sentenced during a May 7, 2026 court hearing for Felony Recklessly Endangering Safety in connection with the incident, during which authorities alleged he intentionally drove into the path of a responding patrol vehicle while fleeing law enforcement.
