WASHBURN COUNTY, WI — Republican candidate for Washburn County Sheriff, Warren Tuttle, will join Ben Dryden live on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 8:30a CST for a special “Meet The Candidate” edition of DrydenWire Live.
The live-stream conversation will air on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and is expected to run approximately 45 to 60 minutes in DrydenWire’s familiar long-form, conversational format — giving viewers an opportunity to get to know the candidate beyond just campaign talking points.
As with all of Ben Dryden’s live shows, the discussion will be relaxed and wide-ranging, touching on both professional and personal topics, while also covering issues important to Washburn County voters ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
Viewers watching live will also be able to submit questions for Tuttle in the Facebook comments during the broadcast.
A full replay of the conversation will be published later Thursday on DrydenWire.com and on DrydenWire’s YouTube channel.
Tuttle announced his candidacy for Washburn County Sheriff in August 2025. A 19-year law enforcement veteran, Tuttle currently serves with the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office and has emphasized community engagement, transparency, leadership development, and combating drug and alcohol abuse as key priorities of his campaign.
Tuttle is seeking to become Washburn County’s next sheriff following current Sheriff Dennis Stuart announcing he would not seek a third term and would be resigning as sheriff on June 12, 2026.
The primary election is scheduled for August 11, 2026. Following the primary, the general election will be held on November 3, 2026.
