Sheriff Dryden: Employer Support of Guard and Reserve

I had the distinct pleasure and honor to be on board the Mobile Bay Coast Guard Cutter out of Sturgeon Bay, on Lake Michigan. The Washburn County Sheriff’s Office employs several guard and reserve members. Washburn County supports our troops, without employer’s support these citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families.

The day I was with them, with many other employers from around the state, the ship and crew recovered and replaced channel buoys. It was a great experience and I have to tell you, those CC guys are good.
