BARRON COUNTY - Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald has issued a brief statement regarding a "high-risk" incident on Friday afternoon in Barron County.
Statement
"Hwy 8 between 12th St and 11th St(Barron and Poskin) is closed due to a high risk incident. The incident is concluded, there is no danger to the public, but the investigation continues. No lethal shots were fired by law enforcement and no injuries to any law enforcement officers.The Barron County Sheriff's Department is being assisted by the WI Dept. of Criminal Investigation."
