DUNN COUNTY -- An early morning crash on Wednesday occurred near Colfax, Wisconsin that has resulted in the death of a 21-year-old woman, according to a news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
News Release
At 5:25 a.m. the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call from a passerby reporting a one vehicle vs. tree crash on County Road W at County Road S in Grant Township. A State Patrol Trooper and Dunn County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Upon arrival they found the 21 year old female driver to be deceased. The driver of the vehicle was not wearing their seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation by Wisconsin State Patrol personnel.
Further details will be released pending notification of next of kin.
Assisting agencies included Dunn County Sheriff’s Department and Colfax Fire and Rescue.
