As summer fades to fall, Crooked Lake Park in Siren is the place to be for the Siren Lions Annual Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale. Known as “The Big One” this sale lives up to its name with a large selection of clothing, household items, furniture, “guy stuff” and more. You never know what treasures you’ll find!
A sale of this magnitude takes a lot of preparation, and that preparation begins now! The Lions are accepting donations for the sale at their storage shed on Polansky Road in Siren every other Saturday from 9:00 am to Noon. They are grateful for all donations, however do not accept electronics or TV’s. Donation dates for 2018 are:
- May 19
- June 2
- June16
- June 30
- July 14
- July 28
- August 11
- August 25 (only if needed)
Reminders for these drop off dates will be posted regularly on the Siren sign at Crooked Lake Park and on Siren’s social media pages.
The Yard Sale is the Siren Lions Clubs biggest fundraiser of the year and allowed them to gave back $43,186 to the community of Siren in 2016. Please consider supporting this group and all they do for the community!
