Six Arrested In Grantsburg Following Drug Investigation, Search Warrants

BURNETT COUNTY — Six people were arrested and illegal drugs were seized following the execution of three simultaneous search warrants in Grantsburg, according to a press release from the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.

PRESS RELEASE

On October 15, 2025, at approximately 10:10 a.m., the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office conducted three simultaneous drug search warrants in the Village of Grantsburg. These warrants were obtained based on information gathered from an investigation into drug trafficking in the Grantsburg area.

The warrants resulted in six arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

The following people were arrested based on this investigation:

Rita Wenzel, age 56, of Grantsburg – delivery of methamphetamine.


Larry Kruger, age 65, of Grantsburg – possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Orval Simon, age 59, of Grantsburg – possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a restraining order, and felony bail jumping.


Daniel Blahowski, age 64, of Grantsburg– possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possessing drugs within 1000 feet of a park, and resisting an officer.


Dominique Fleckner, age 31, of Grantsburg – possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of THC 2+ offense, and child neglect by exposing a child to drug abuse.


Bradley Belisle, age 47, of Grantsburg – possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect by exposing a child to drug abuse.
