WINTER STORM: A winter storm is on the way and will bring period of hazardous driving conditions to the Northland this evening into Monday morning.

Snow will quickly develop from west to east this evening and will be accompanied by gusty east to southeast winds overnight. The falling snow and winds will cause periods of low visibility.

Most of the snow will fall overnight before sunrise, and there will be a push of warm air into northwest Wisconsin late tonight into the morning, which will result in a transition of snow to rain.

Expect a difficult Monday morning commute, especially in the Arrowhead where the snow will continue in the morning.
