Spooner 'Blows' No More

Spooner 'Blows' No More

The graffiti on the Stanberry Railroad Bridge over Highway 63 that previously said 'SPOONERBLOWS' has been updated, according to a picture submitted to DrydenWire.com on Friday, June 9, 2017, from a DrydenWire Facebook follower.

The bridge has been updated several times over many years, and some of the individuals who have participated in this very risky and criminal behavior in the past have been caught, but it is unknown at this time who is responsible for the latest update.

However, the bridge has become somewhat of an attraction and even has it's own unofficial Facebook page: "Spooner Blows", listing it as a 'Landmark of Northern Wisconsin' where people can share photos and even "Check In" from their own Facebook page when they visit the location.

We don't know what the other side says, but in the past, it has read "Hayward Sucks".  But for now, it looks like Spooner no longer 'blows'.
