The Results Are In From "Sacco" Brewed Leukemia Donation Drive

SPOONER, WIS.-- Last week, DrydenWire reported that Victor Sacco (TwitterFacebook), of Edina Realty in Spooner, Wisconsin, had teamed with the Dock Coffee (Facebook) to help raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS).  The results of this team effort were announced by Vic today at the Dock.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce that through the efforts of the Dock Coffee, DrydenWire.com, and myself, a total of $600.00 was raised for - and donated to - the Leukemia Lymphoma Society" said Vic.  "I am very appreciative of all the folks that donated, expressed support, and the exposure that this gave to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. To me, this shows that our community, and even from outside of our community, can come together to support this great cause."

Over the past week, patrons that visited the Dock Coffee could purchase a “Sacco” coffee drink (a double Espresso with skim milk, frothed on top) for $2.50.  Vic, the Dock, and Michelle Carlson, assistant manager at the Dock, would then each donate $2 to the LLS.

"I am so grateful to be a part of something so positive", said Michelle.  "It feels great to benefit my community in any way I can!"

23 "Sacco" drinks were sold in the week-long effort resulting in Vic, the Dock, and Michelle to donate a total of $138. Through Vic's 'Donate' button on his Facebook page - where people could donate directly to the LLS if they could not make it into The Dock - an additional $450 was raised and donated.  A $12 cash donation left at the Dock brought the grand total donated to an even $600.

The Dock also expressed their appreciation for being a part of Vic's fundraiser: "The Dock Coffee is honored to have been a part of this awesome collaboration to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.  We are so grateful that Vic chose to include the Dock in this initiative to help this great cause."

Vic also hinted that this may not be a one-and-done deal, though he wouldn't get into any specifics: "This was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to doing something in collaboration with these partners in the very near future."

I guess we will stay tuned to see what Vic and the Dock have in store next!
