SPOONER, WI – Spooner Health is now seeking candidates for Full-time APNP Hospitalist.
Duties of the position include:
- Evaluates patient care utilizing nursing process.
- Administers nursing care to patients.
- Communicates with family and health professionals regarding care of patients.
- Responsible for the safety and comfort of patients, visitors, and employees assigned to the patient care units.
- Provides professional growth and development of nursing staff.
Requirements of the position include:
- Active Wisconsin R.N. License: Eligibility to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- National Certification: Certification (e.g., ANCC or AANP) as an APNP with recertification every 5 years under regulating agencies’ guidelines.
- Current Prescriptive Authority in Wisconsin: APNP certification and DEA, obtaining 8 contact hours per year in clinical pharmacology/therapeutics relevant to APNP’s area of practice.
- Current Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
- Hospital Privileges: Required
