SPOONER, WI -- Spooner Health is excited to announce that Anne Focht has joined the team as the Social Services Director. Diane Neste, Spooner Health’s Social Services Director of 23 years, announced her retirement and handed over the reins to Focht back in mid-August. With a Master’s of Clinical Social Work degree from the University of St. Thomas and nearly 20 years of experience working in clinics, hospitals, counties and crisis, Focht was a natural fit for the Spooner Health team.
“It is such an honor to get to work in a hospital that serves my community; the community I grew up in and the community I am raising my own children in. Spooner Health has taken care of my own family throughout the years and helped bring my two children into the world. I now have the opportunity to give back and support patients the same way my family and I have been supported - such a privilege.” — Anne Focht, Social Services Director
After beginning her role, Focht quickly jumped into serving as a patient advocate and resource for the community. When asked about her first few months at Spooner Health, Focht shared, “I have been at Spooner Health for only 3 months, but the welcoming atmosphere and the warmth from my colleagues has made it feel like I fit in from day one.”
“In a few short months, Anne settled right into our culture with a focus on serving our patients. She’s a wealth of knowledge and brings her passion for people to Spooner Health. We are very fortunate to have her on our team.” — Clint Miller, BSN Chief Nursing Officer, Spooner Health
Please join Spooner Health in congratulating her on her new role. To learn more about Spooner Health or to connect with Anne, reach out to her at 715-939-1681 or email@example.com.
