WASHBURN COUNTY — A Spooner, Wisconsin, man originally facing multiple felony charges for possession of child sexual assault materials has avoided criminal conviction after prosecutors dismissed the charges ahead of trial.
Travis Robbins (44) was first charged with possession of child pornography in 2021 following an investigation by the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office. That original case was later dismissed in 2024, and a new criminal complaint was filed charging him with additional counts of possessing child pornography. That second court case has now been dismissed as well.
In 2023, Robbins was charged with felony attempted bail jumping for attempting to flee the country to avoid prosecution, and he was sentenced on that charge on June 29, 2026.
