SPOONER -- Today, Tuesday, March 20, 2018, Spooner Area School District (SASD) School Board member Julie Rich submitted her resignation from the School Board, according to SASD Superintendent Dr. David Aslyn.
"School Board President Karen Sorenson accepted Ms. Rich's resignation thanking her for her service to SASD and the community."
Dr. Aslyn added that the School Board has not yet met to take action on this matter.
Rich is one of the three candidates on the ballot for the April 3 school board election for the two open seats along with fellow-incumbent Paul Johnson. Deb Olson is running as a challenger.
