WASHBURN COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A Spooner man who admitted to fleeing law enforcement at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour in a January 2025 pursuit that began in Spooner and stretched toward Stone Lake has been sentenced.
Hunter Sutton was identified after photos of his vehicle were posted online by police, and he later admitted to investigators that he “took off” because of open containers in the car and an expired permit.
The car was captured on camera, and the Spooner Police Department published those photos on its Facebook page, requesting assistance from the public.
Sutton appeared on September 15, 2025, regarding the charges against him and was sentenced.
