SAWYER COUNTY — A Sawyer County woman is facing felony theft charges after authorities allege she exploited the trust placed in her by vulnerable victims and unlawfully took money and property over a period of several months.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court, Spring Morning Breeze Lasieur, 45, of Spooner, WI, came under investigation in January 2026 following allegations that she withdrew funds from bank accounts and took other property while providing care to individuals considered at risk. The case has since resulted in a felony charge, with Spring scheduled to make her initial court appearance later this month.
