SPOONER, WI -- Multiple law enforcement agencies collaborated to arrest Joseph C. Harris after he 'would not cooperate', according to a press release from the Spooner Police Department.
PRESS RELEASE
On August 20, 2024, Spooner Police Department, along with Washburn County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to take a male suspect, Joseph Carl Harris, 41 years old, at 601 Oak Street, into custody for domestic-related issues, along with a Department of Correction Arrest Warrant. Joseph would not cooperate.
As the day progressed, Joseph started making threats to injure others as well as himself. The Washburn SRT team was activated and responded. Joseph was taken into custody without incident.
The City of Spooner would like to thank the Washburn County Sheriff’s Office for the assistance with this matter.
