St. Croix Falls, WI -- The St. Croix Falls School District is excited to announce that Mr. Kris Wallace will be the new principal of St. Croix Falls Middle School, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year.
Mr. Wallace brings a strong background in both education and leadership. He most recently served as Middle School Principal in the Grantsburg, Wisconsin, School District. Before that, he spent 10 years as a Middle School Science Teacher in the St. Croix Falls School District, where he left a lasting impact on students and staff.
During his tenure in St. Croix Falls, Mr. Wallace was a dedicated coach and mentor. He served as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach for 7 years, Middle School Wrestling Co-Head Coach for 6 years, and Head Varsity Track Coach for 10 years. His commitment to students' success extended beyond the classroom and into the athletic fields, where he emphasized teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
Mr. Wallace holds an undergraduate degree in Education, a Master of Education in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, and a Master’s in Education Administration Certificate from the University of Wisconsin–Superior.
On April 21, 2025, the St. Croix Falls Board of Education unanimously approved Mr. Wallace’s hire as Middle School Principal.

“His leadership experience, educational expertise, and deep-rooted connection to our school community make him an ideal fit to lead our middle school.”
In his free time, Kris enjoys hunting, fishing, and chasing his kids around to their various sporting events. He is a Chicago sports fan (Cubs and Bears) and loves getting to the ballpark when possible. He resides in the St. Croix Falls school district with his three kids who make him a proud dad and avid Saints fan.
