WASHBURN COUNTY — A firearms incident in August 2024 at a canoe rental facility located in Trego, WI, has resulted in criminal convictions for 20-year-old Nathon Conger, of Hayward, WI.
Witness accounts, rental records, photos, and surveillance video helped investigators identify Conger, who was originally charged with discharging a handgun at another patron of the rental facility.
Conger also later received weapons-related charges in Sawyer County Court, according to online court records. He has now been sentenced in both counties on convictions from both cases.
