'Tastefully Together' Gala Returns To Support Local Families In Washburn County

SPOONER, WI — Lakeland Family Resource Center (LFRC) is proud to once again partner with Sacco Group–Edina Realty to host Tastefully Together, a midwinter gala celebrating families and community support.

The event will take place on Friday, February 20, at 5:00 p.m. at Hunt Hill Nature Center. All proceeds from Tastefully Together will directly support local families facing hardship, helping ensure they have access to vital programs, services, and resources.

Now in its 6th year, the Tastefully Together Fundraiser promises an evening of delicious food and drinks, live music, games, raffles, Chinese auctions, and a silent auction. Tickets are limited and include food and a complimentary drink. Community members are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

There is still time for businesses and organizations to become event sponsors. “Sponsors are the key to a successful fundraiser,” said Amber LaRue, Executive Director of LFRC. “Their generosity helps make Tastefully Together an unforgettable evening while strengthening the impact we can make for families in our community.” Businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities can contact LaRue directly for more information.

LaRue emphasized the growing need for support services, adding, “So many children and families are struggling. Hearing how our work impacts these families reassures us that our programs and services are both needed and effective.”

Community members consistently echo that sentiment. “We are lucky to have a resource center in our small community,” shared one resident. A family recently enrolled in Lakeland’s Community Response Program expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for the help—everything you do is such a blessing.”
