The Donut Dash will be the Barron County Fairgrounds and will start with a special tribute for Law Enforcement Officers that have died in the line of duty. This will include all of the fallen officer’s in the US since our last release on July 22nd, 2016. We will be including some special colored balloons for the Wisconsin officers. The balloon release will take place right before the run, at approximately 8:25am.
Following the balloon release, at 8:30 am, the Cops & Robbers Donut Dash will start just inside the entrance to the fairgrounds. The proceeds from Cops & Robbers Donut Dash 5K go to the Barron County Law Enforcement Foundation which then uses those funds for our Shop With A Cop program.
In 2016 we provided 60 children with gift cards to shop with deputies and officers from the Sheriff’s Department and officers from all of the municipalities. This is a special event for everyone involved.
Details about the run…..The run takes place on Saturday of the Barron County Fair, at the fairgrounds, at 8:30am on July 22. Every paid registration receives FREE Saturday admission to the fair.
Also…there will be donuts.
