RUSK COUNTY, WI — Three individuals were arrested following a lengthy investigation into a missing child case, according to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.

In November 2025, the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a missing child out of Kossuth County, Iowa who was believed to be living in Rusk County with their father.
On January 19, 2026, after a lengthy investigation, the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office executed a warrant at N5069 Hwy 73, Township of Richland, Rusk County, Glen Flora where two suspects [Emil Roth (DOB 04/15/1966) and Audrey Roth (DOB 06/10/1966) were taken into custody for interfering with parental custody/party to a crime. The child’s father, Douglas Roth (DOB 03/11/1992), was arrested in Taylor County on a warrant out of Kossuth County, Iowa for felony kidnapping.
