BURNETT COUNTY — Three people were found deceased following an early morning structure fire at a home on Shogren Road in Anderson Township on Saturday, February 7, 2026, according to a press release from the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office issued Sunday morning.

PRESS RELEASE
On February 7, 2026, at 4:48 a.m. Burnett County Dispatch received a report of a structure fire at a residence on Shogren Road in Anderson Township. Law enforcement, fire departments and ambulances responded. Upon arrival they discovered the residence was fully engulfed in flames.
Three known occupants of the home have been located deceased. No names will be released pending the investigation and notification of family.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice Fire Marshal’s Office was called for assistance. The scene is still under investigation.
