Three-Vehicle Crash In Siren Under Investigation, Multiple Injuries Reported

BURNETT COUNTY — A multi-vehicle crash with serious injuries occurred Tuesday evening at the intersection of State Road 70 and State Road 35 in the Village of Siren, according to a press release from the Siren Police Department.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Burnett County dispatch received a report of a three vehicle accident with serious injuries. The location given was State Road 70 and State Road 35 70, located in the Village of Siren.

The following agencies were dispatched and assisted at the scene; Siren Police Department, Burnett County Sheriff’s Office, WI State Patrol, Siren Fire Department, North Memorial Ambulance, North Memorial. Air Care, Burnett County Health and Human Services and Southside Towing.

Upon arrival, officers observed: Unit 1 with rear end damage, driven by a 41 year old female from Danbury, Unit 2 with both front and rear end damage, driven by a 57 year old male from Siren, and Unit 3 with extensive front end damage, driven by a 38 year old female from Siren.

Officers spoke with all involved and determined that Unit 3 failed to stop striking Unit 2 which in turn stuck Unit 1.

The driver of Unit 1 was self-transported to Burnett Medical Center with possible neck injuries.

The driver of Unit 2 was transported to Burnett Medical Center via ambulance with possible back injuries.

The driver of Unit 3 was transported to Burnett Medical Center via ambulance with possible back injuries. An unrestrained juvenile passenger in Unit 3 was flown via North Memorial Air Care to Regions Hospital for a possible broken leg and possible head trauma. As per department policy, blood work was completed at the hospital on the driver of Unit 3.

The investigation is pending completion of bloodwork and is ongoing at this time. More information will be released when it becomes available.
