SPOONER, WI -- Dr. Mike Knoepke’s time on Spooner Health’s Board of Directors has come to an end and Tim Reedy has been nominated and elected as the newest board member.
Mike, a resident of Spooner since 1978, served on the Spooner Health Board of Directors for 12 years. He was Vice President of the board for several of those years. Mike has been married for 47 years to Mary Knoepke and together they have two children and three grandchildren. Mike has been practicing dentistry in his Spooner office for 41 years.
He was also involved in the planning and building of the new hospital. Mike says, “That process was an amazing accomplishment for the city of Spooner. Above and beyond that, it has been an honor and privilege to serve with such great board members and employees and Spooner Health.”
“Mike gave a unique perspective to Spooner Health’s Board of Directors,” said Mike Schafer, Spooner Health CEO. “His roots in the Spooner community and knowledge of healthcare made him a valuable board member.”
Tim Reedy joins the Board of Directors
Tim Reedy has been a small business owner in Spooner for the past 15 years. He and his wife Tammy have three children – Ben, Nick, and Kate. Tim completed his Bachelor of Accounting degree at University of MN – Duluth, and his MBA at Illinois State University. Tim states “Being a member of the Board of Directors for Spooner Health is an honor. I look forward to serving the community through this role and I am excited to be part an organization that has such a huge positive impact on our community.
Other board members include Chair Jamie Morales, Vice-Chair Leslie Arf, Treasurer Adam Liegl, Secretary Dr. Mark Van Etten, Dr. Brian Gaskill and Maureen Revak.
