SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Authorities executed a pre-dawn search warrant at a Couderay residence on September 23, 2025, uncovering methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug trafficking in Sawyer County.
According to a criminal complaint, the search, carried out by LCO Tribal Police with assistance from the Sawyer, Washburn, and Burnett County tactical teams, led to the arrests of Gary Tainter Jr., age 45, and Kayla Decora, age 29, both now facing multiple felony charges connected to the alleged drug operation.
