SPOONER, WIS. -- The Township of Spooner is accepting applications for a town clerk to fill the remaining term of the elected town clerk. The opening follows the resignation of the elected town clerk, who is moving outside the township boundaries. The remainder of the term will be from September 12, 2018, until the spring elections on April 15th, 2019.
This is a paid position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and posting meeting agendas, recording and posting of minutes for the monthly board meeting, preparing documents and budget sheets for the elector meetings, and receiving correspondence directed to the board.
The three person board will conduct interviews at the regular board meeting September 11th.
