SAWYER COUNTY — A Sawyer County traffic stop has led to multiple felony drug charges against two Stone Lake, WI, residents after deputies allegedly found fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia during the July 28, 2026, stop in the Town of Couderay.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court, Shania Pringle, 30, and Chaska Carrillo, 51, were both taken into custody after a deputy stopped their vehicle following multiple traffic violations, including allegedly nearly hitting a woman walking along County Highway E.
