EAU CLAIRE COUNTY -- Two women have been arrested after a traffic stop lead authorities to the discovery of 16 pounds of Meth, according to a press release from the Wisconsin State Patrol
(Press Release) -- On February 3, 2019 at approximately 10:12 pm, Wisconsin State Patrol troopers stopped a vehicle on Interstate 94 west bound at mile post 74, in Eau Claire County, for a traffic violation.
The troopers noticed indicators of criminal activity.
A Wisconsin State Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large duffle bag containing approximately 7.5 kilograms of Methamphetamine.
The occupants of the vehicle Salina K Goodwin, 35 yoa from Ogema MN and Crystal G Oquist, 39 yoa from Minneapolis were arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine.

A 4 year old child was also an occupant of the vehicle. The child was released to the custody of Human Services of Eau Claire County.
Ms. Goodwin and Ms. Oquist were booked into Eau Claire County jail.
