Last night K9 Officer Krupa stopped a vehicle in the Sand Lake Community because the driver had a revoked driver’s license.
During the stop, K9 Auggie was deployed and gave a positive indication that he could smell narcotics coming from the car.
What you see here is a Fentanyl patch that was hidden inside a shampoo bottle that was found in the vehicle.
According to the DEA, Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid. Fentanyl is a very powerful anesthetic (30-50 times more potent than heroin)
Awesome job from K9 Auggie, K9 Officer Krupa, and Inv. Jerdee for getting this poison off the streets and out of the community!
