SAWYER COUNTY — A traffic stop in April 2025 in Sawyer County has resulted in felony convictions for Nathan Rickards, 44, of Hayward.
During the traffic stop, law enforcement located methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials. The investigation later expanded to a search of Rickards' residence, where authorities discovered additional drugs, multiple firearms, and a cache of valuable items, including gold and silver bars and collectible coins.
Rickards was sentenced on drug and firearm convictions during a recent hearing in Sawyer County Circuit Court.
