POLK COUNTY — A traffic stop in St. Croix Falls led to the seizure of methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, suspected MDMA, marijuana products, and drug paraphernalia, according to the St. Croix Falls Police Department.

On June 15, 2026, at approximately 1:03 a.m., an officer with the St. Croix Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on US Highway 8 for equipment violations.
During the course of the stop, officers developed probable cause to conduct a search of the vehicle following a positive alert by a police K-9 trained in narcotics detection. The subsequent search resulted in the seizure of suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
Items recovered during the investigation included:
- Approximately ¼ pound of methamphetamine
- Approximately 31.61 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- Approximately 4.75 grams of suspected MDMA
- Approximately 28.35 grams of marijuana and THC products
- Digital scales and packaging materials commonly associated with the distribution of controlled substances
- Additional drug paraphernalia
Jasmine Marcyan (26) and Tyler Jacobson (36) were arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail.
The St. Croix Falls Police Department referred charges, including Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia to the Polk County District Attorney's Office for review.
The St. Croix Falls Police Department would like to recognize the assistance provided by Polk County Sheriff's Office personnel and K9 Bane during this investigation.
