All roads in the Township of Blaine, Burnett County, Wisconsin with the exception of the bridge on State Line Road are open to vehicle traffic following the flooding this week. Please continue to follow all detour routes throughout the impacted areas. For all Wisconsin state road closures and detours please visit 511wi.gov or dial 511.

UPDATE: As the waters of the St Croix River continue to further recede the Burnett County Highway Department and Emergency Management Team report that the Riverside Bridge North of the Village of Danbury on State Highway 35 is now open to general traffic. State Highway 35 from County Road T to County Road E in Douglas County remains closed. The Minnesota Department of Transportation has opened State Highway 77/48 on the Minnesota border to general traffic. Please follow all detour signs throughout Burnett and Douglas Counties. For up to date information on road closures and detours throughout the areas impacted by the flooding please dial 511.
Anyone that experienced personal or property damage due to the storms and flooding should report the damage by dialing 211.
UPDATE: Water levels around the Village of Danbury continue to recede. North Markville Road and Perkins Trail in the Township of Blain have been opened for vehicle traffic. The following roads in the Township of Blaine continue to be closed South Markville Road, State Line Road, the CCC Bridge on St. Croix Trail and the bridge on Big Island Road.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service of Duluth, MN as of 11:22 AM, June 19 2018 has canceled the Flash Flood Warning for a dam failure covering East Central Pine, Southwestern Douglas, and North Central Burnett Counties.
Flooding on the Tamarack River is gradually receding and is no longer expected to pose a significant flash flood threat. However, flooding is still occurring across Douglas, Burnett, and Pine counties. Please continue to heed all road closures. For road information contact your local county or dial 511.

UPDATE: The Burnett County Emergency Management Team has determined it is safe for the families voluntarily evacuated from the Village of Danbury, WI last evening to return to their homes. Well water test kits are available for flood victims. When in doubt, do not drink or use the water if the water is cloudy, colored or smells bad. Burnett County Highway Department reports the following road closure updates:
- State Highway 35 at Riverside is still closed. Flood waters need to recede about 2’ before it is off the highway.
- State Highway 35 in Danbury over the Yellow River was never closed.
- State Highway 77 over the St. Croix River at the Minnesota state line is closed indefinitely due to a washed out long section of the highway on the Minnesota side.
- State Highway 70 over the St. Croix River west of Grantsburg is not closed.

UPDATE: For safety reasons, all Burnett County ATV trails north and west of the St. Croix River are CLOSED until further notice. This includes Trails 118, 151, and 925; as well as connecting routes west of Dry Landing Road. We continue to assess the rest of our trail system and coordinate with surrounding counties, so please check back for updates as there may be additional closures. If you choose to ride, please do so with extreme caution, as there are some washouts on our trails and there may be trees down. This damage is being repaired as quickly as possible by ATV club members and county staff.
UPDATE: Wisconsin Department of Transportation did not close the State Highway 35 Bridge in Danbury, WI. The river has remained below the bridge throughout the night. The National Weather Service has yet to declare an estimated time for the river to crest. The Burnett County Emergency Management team continues to monitor the situation and will keep residents informed.

Individuals within the route of the rising flood waters of the St. Croix River are welcome to go to the Burnett County Emergency Management Reception Center within the Danbury Casino Conference Center.
Due to heavy storms with accumulative rains that blanketed the county and surrounding areas Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th the following road closures have been announced:
- State Trunk Highway (STH) 35 at the St. Croix River bridge is closed.
- Highway 77/48 over the St. Croix River west of Danbury it closed.
- St. Croix Trail at the St. Croix River bridge is closed.
- Perkins Trail between Big McGraw Road and St. Croix Trail is closed
- North Markville Road is closed at the bridge approximately one mile west of STH 35.
- Big Island Road is closed at the bridge over Hay Creek.
- State Line Road is closed from the Burnett County Line to Stuart Road.
- South Markville Road is closed from STH 35 to 1.5 miles west.
