**UPDATE**

BARRON COUNTY -- Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says that on Thursday, with the assistance of a WI DNR an airplane flew around the county looking for Jacobson’s vehicle. Nothing was located, according to Fitzgerald.

The Sheriff says that “Investigators also followed up with people who had last seen Ben and a couple of tips but again nothing has turned up,” adding “Please continue to share this information and pass on any tips to the Barron County Sheriff's Dept.”

Authorities Still Seeking To Locate Missing 22-Year-Old Cumberland Man

BARRON COUNTY — Authorities in Barron County are sill still seeking to locate Benjamin Jacobson, 22, of Cumberland, Wisconsin.

On Wednesday, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald issued a press release stating that they were looking for information and attempting to locate Jacobson.

Sheriff Fitzgerald said Jacobson was last seen on Monday around 7:30p and did not show up for work on Tuesday. The family had also not been able to contact Jacobson which the Sheriff said was “highly unusual.”

On Wednesday night, Sheriff Fitzgerald said that they still have not located Jacobson.

Jacobson was last seen in a green 2002 Ford F -150 truck.

Sheriff Fitzgerald asks that if you have information on the whereabouts of Jacobson to please contact Barron County Dispatch at 715-537-3106 so they can check on his welfare.
