David Boswell, previously wanted by law enforcement authorities for stealing a county employee's vehicle, has had his motion to modify his bail bond in Washburn County denied by the Court. Boswell continues to remain under the condition of $10,000 cash bail bond set on March 14, 2017.
David Boswell appeared in Washburn County Circuit Court on March 22, 2017. Public record shows that the Court heard testimony regarding Boswell's felony charge of taking and driving a vehicle without owner's consent and found that there is probable cause for the State of Wisconsin to proceed on that case against Boswell.
Boswell also entered a plea of not guilty with the Court on his criminal misdemeanor charges of Operating While Intoxicated (2nd offense); Operating While Revoked; and Operate with Restricted Controlled Substance (2nd offense) and an amended charge of Fraud on Gas Station, a county ordinance violation.
The criminal cases in Sawyer County Circuit Court against Boswell are still open as well, charging him with Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and Operating While Revoked.
Boswell is set to appear again in Washburn County Circuit Court on April 17, 2017.
