(Friday, 4/14/17) -- Rock County Sheriff’s Office and other local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies continue to search for Joseph A. Jakubowski (M/W, DOB: 07/21/84, 5’10”, 200 lbs., green eyes and brown hair). As of 8:00 PM, Tip Lines have received 785 tips, and investigators are actively following up on 158 tips.
This afternoon we were made aware that Waukesha County authorities are investigating a threatening letter sent through the U.S. Postal Service indicating unspecified violence at unspecified churches in the Sussex area on Easter Sunday, 04/16/17. The threatening letter was purported to be sent by Jakubowski. This letter is being forwarded for analysis and its authenticity is in question.
Investigators want to again remind the public that Jakubowski is considered “armed and dangerous”. Direct sightings of Jakubowski should be called into “911” immediately. General tips and historical information can be reported to the FBI Tip Line: 1-800-CALLFBI (225-5324) or the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line: 608-757-7911. The FBI is offering a cash reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to the successful apprehension of Jakubowski.
At this point, there is not a press conference scheduled regarding this case. It is anticipated that a press conference will be scheduled in the future if there are any major changes in this investigation.

(Thursday, 4/13/17) -- Extensive efforts to locate and apprehend Joseph A. Jakubowski (M/W, DOB: 07/21/84, 5’10”, 200 lbs., green eyes and brown hair) move forward this morning. Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies continue to collaborate on this investigation. As of 8:00 AM, over 730 tips have been received on the Tip Lines. Law enforcement personnel are currently pursing 140 of these tips.
Overnight, investigators believe that the media obtained a partial copy of the document Jakubowski mailed to President Trump. This excerpt was not provided by law enforcement. At this time, due to the ongoing investigation, law enforcement will not release Jakubowski’s document.
