UPDATE: Heavy Snow Possible Late Tonight Into Monday Night

Snow will spread in from southwest to northeast tonight through Monday across the Northland. The heaviest snow is expected to develop late Monday morning and persist through the afternoon and into the evening hours. Snow will gradually taper off on Tuesday.

The highest amounts are expected in the Hinckley area west to near Mille Lacs Lake where 6 to 10 inches of snow is forecast. Lesser amounts are anticipated further to the north and east. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for portions of the Northland.
