Press Release - At 10:58 AM on Friday February 24, 2017 a crash occurred on Co. Hwy F at Arrowhead Lane in SAWYER County near BIRCHWOOD.
Assisting agencies included Birchwood Police Department, Birchwood Ambulance, Birchwood Fire Department, and Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department.

On 2/24/17 at approximately 10:58 AM the Wisconsin State Patrol respond to a 2 vehicle crash with injuries on County Highway F and Arrowhead Lane, north of the Village of Birchwood.
Initial investigation indicates a northbound vehicle, occupied by an adult female and child, lost control due to the poor road conditions and traveled into the path of a southbound vehicle, which was occupied by one adult male. All occupants were transported to the Lake View Medical Center in Rice Lake with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
