UPDATE: New Charges Filed Against Hamer, Englund

UPDATE: New Charges Filed Against Hamer, Englund

New charges have been filed against two men recently charged in criminal court following a drug bust in Washburn County, according to public records.

Jeremy Englund recently appeared in Washburn County Circuit Court regarding his criminal charges for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Felony Manufacturing or Delivering Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Deliver Non-Narcotics, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing. Public record shows that an Amended Criminal Complaint was filed that same day, charging Englund with an additional count of Misdemeanor Manufacturing or Delivering Drug Paraphernalia.

The Court heard testimony on Englund's case and found that there is probable cause for the State to proceed with Englund's felony charges in criminal court. Englund later appeared in front of a new judge, John Anderson, who has been assigned to his case.

Englund's next court appearance on these Washburn County charges is set for April 28, 2017.

According to public record, Eric Hamer's charges of Felony Manufacturing or Delivering Amphetamine, and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing an Officer have been dismissed by motion of the Prosecutor (District Attorney).

Two new criminal cases were filed in Washburn County Circuit Court against Eric Hamer at that same time. He is now charged in one of the cases with Misdemeanor Bail Jump and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing an Officer with the same offense date as the charges which were dismissed.

The other criminal charges are for Operating While Revoked and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Public record shows that the Wisconsin State Patrol cited Hamer for these offenses on February 16, 2017.

Hamer's Washburn County cases were also assigned to Judge Anderson and there is no new court date listed on public record at the time of this post.

Hamer also has an open criminal case in Oneida County Wisconsin Circuit Court, charging him with Misdemeanor Operating While Revoked.
