Authorities have released the name of Rice Lake man that died in a rollover crash in Barron County.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Brandon Dale Schneider, 31, was killed when his vehicle entered a ditch and rolled multiple times.

(Press Release) -- At 5:24 PM on Sunday May 27, 2018 a crash occurred on County Highway SS at County B in BARRON County near RICE LAKE.

The crash involved 1 fatality.

On 05/27/18 at approximately 5:24PM, the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on County Highway SS at County Highway B, in Barron County.

Upon arrival, it was discovered the lone occupant / driver, a 31-year-old male from Rice Lake, WI was deceased. Initial investigation indicated the vehicle was traveling south on County Highway SS. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled over several times.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of the family. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Assisting agencies included Barron County Sheriff’s Office, Rice Lake Fire Department, Rice Lake Police Department, and Rice Lake Ambulance Service.
