(UPDATE) Wanted Shell Lake & Spooner Men Now in Custody

The Washburn County Sheriff's Office has confirmed to DrydenWire.com that both Jeremy C. Englund, of Spooner, WI., and Eric E. Hamer, of Shell Lake, WI, are in custody.


Warrants Issued for Shell Lake & Spooner Men

Arrest warrants have been issued by Washburn County Circuit Court, according to public record, for Eric E. Hamer, age 28, of Shell Lake, WI and Jeremy C. Englund, age 29, of Spooner, WI.

These warrants are connected to charges filed on February 27, 2017 in Washburn County Circuit Court.

Spooner Police Department issued a press release regarding an incident on February 22, 2017 in which 6 individuals were arrested in the Township of Evergreen following the execution of a search warrant.

Officers located suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin and suspected hashish as well as supplies suspected to be used for the manufacturing of drug paraphernalia. Spooner Police Department was assisted by the Washburn County Special Response Team (SRT) and the Washburn County Sheriff's' Office.

Jeremy Englund is charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Felony Manufacturing or Delivering Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Deliver Non-Narcotics, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing.

Eric Hamer is charged with Felony Manufacturing or Delivering Amphetamine, and Misdemeanor Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.

An offense date of February 22, 2017 is listed on public record for these charges filed against both Hamer and Englund.
