Update: Warrant Issued for Man Facing Felony Meth Charges

BURNETT COUNTY, Wis. -- A warrant has been issued for a man facing felony meth charges in Burnett County Circuit Court.

According to public record, Alan Schwartzbauer, of Grantsburg, WI, failed to appear for his court hearing on Monday May 15, 2017. The Court issued a warrant for Schwartzbauer's arrest.

DrydenWire reported on this story on March 27, 2017. The Burnett County Sheriff's Office stopped a car for speeding in the Township of Grantsburg and throughout the course of the traffic stop located drug paraphernalia and multiple gem bags containing methamphetamine and marijuana.

The other individual in the car at the time, Kayla Evans, was also charged criminally with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 3 counts of Felony Bail Jump. Public record shows that another criminal case was filed against Evans on April 24, 2017 in Burnett County Circuit Court charging her with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, 2 counts of Felony Bail Jump, and 1 count of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Evan is also charged with 1 count of Misdemeanor Theft of Movable Property in a criminal case filed on March 24, 2017.

Evans is scheduled to appear in court again on June 14, 2017.

Public record also shows that another criminal complaint was filed on April 24, 2017 against Schwartzbauer in Burnett County Circuit Court charging him with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, 2 counts of Felony Bail Jump, and 1 count of Misdemeanor Bail Jump. A third criminal complaint was previously filed against Schwartzbauer in Burnett County Circuit Court on April 27, 2016, charging him with 2 counts of Misdemeanor Retail Theft.
