WASHBURN COUNTY -- A repeat criminal offender already facing multiple pending prison terms has been sentenced on new felony convictions in Washburn County Circuit Court.

Jonathan Bryan, age 41, most recently appeared in court on March 19, 2026, while in custody, where he entered guilty pleas to amended charges stemming from a violent assault investigation, the discovery of an improvised explosive device, and methamphetamine possession during a May 2025 incident near Trego, WI.

The Hon. Judge Annette Barna accepted Bryan’s pleas and ordered a new imposed and stayed sentence to run consecutively to his sentences for previous convictions that he is already serving after his supervision was revoked, meaning Bryan could face additional prison time if he violates probation again in the future.
