With black velvet fur and golden eyes, Play with us and you’ll soon realize that black cats aren’t evil, We’re really quite nice; Those old superstitions were just bad advice! Like miniature panthers, we’ll pounce ‘cross your floor, Then jump in your lap, purr--and purr some more; There are twelve of us here and we’ve had a long stay, So please adopt a black kitty today!
