Washburn County Family Festival has become one of the community’s marquee events during the summer season. It’s always been a family friendly gathering, filled with learning and fun.
The Family Fest committee aims to maintain that same feel despite today’s unique challenges. During this unprecedented time, there are certainly more questions than answers. We know that June is an inappropriate time to hold the event and we must reschedule. The new date for Washburn County Family Festival is August 22nd from 11AM – 3PM.
It will still be held at the Washburn County Fairgrounds and we aim to include all of the awesome activities you’ve come to expect. There will be exhibitors, entertainment, activities and a complimentary meal. It’s just that it might be packaged a little different from years past.
The Family Fest committee is working hard to address the event logistics and to create a safety plan, which will be approved by the Washburn County Public Health Department.
Safety is of an upmost concern, but it continues to be our priority to bring you a fun filled, family oriented day. As we near the event, more details will be provided. Stay well!
